We are called to reach outside our walls to help our community locally and globally. Learn about the ways we are supporting God’s call for our church.
The Outreach team is providing multiple ways we can give and serve our community throughout the holiday season.
We’re collecting funds to provide school supplies for Cultivate Life with a goal of $3,500. Give online or note your offering for Cultivate Life Honduras during the month of December.
We’re better together, so together, we’re working to help our neighbors in western NC, specifically supporting Shoal Creek Baptist Church, the church of our former pastor Eddie McClure in Burnsville.
We’ll continue to update here as things change and progress.
If you’d like to donate funds to be used towards relief efforts as the rebuilding process progresses, please note in your giving “Western NC Relief Aid.”
At Connections, our goal is to establish the Church among all peoples everywhere by reaching, planting, training and serving. One of the ways we do that is through support of the Weed family. The Weed family were regular attenders at Connections Church before they were called to go and do missions work in Honduras in November 2015. In Honduras, the Weeds established Cultivate Life which supports the people of Honduras through education, community outreach, orphan care, etc.

Displaced Roses is an advocacy outreach that serves unhoused individuals living in Gaston County. Their outreach efforts (with the help of volunteers) feeds, clothes and gives basic essentials out weekly; but most importantly, it provides hope to the many that have lost it.
Connections Church supports this ministry through donations and assistance as needed.
